Larry Hogan, the popular former Governor of Maryland now running for Senate, is a Repblican leader of the highest echelon. He's been vocal about his opposition to Trump, but he's a conservative and won't vote for Biden. He says he's planning to write in a name as a “symbolic vote that states my dissatisfaction with where the party is.”
It's fine to be vocal about your dissatisfaction - many people are saying they don't like the choices. But when U.S. citizens don't vote or write in a name who has no shot at winning, you have decided to live in a democracy without participating. Hogan should know better, and he may very well come to his senses by November. It's important to vote. Someone is going to win the presidency for the next four years. You have a choice, and the differences are stark. Find out what they plan to do, and pick the one who best represents your interests and the interests of the country.
The president sets the tone for the whole nation, and is also the leader of our foreign policy. Choose carefully. Become an informed voter. We need to hear from you. Your vote is important, powerful, and precious.
